How Play it FWD handles information.

We collect information you provide when you create or manage a Team Hub, including account details, team information, fundraising goals and activity, and content you choose to publish.

When a business sponsors a team, we may collect business and contact information, logo files, website details, sponsorship selections and optional family offers.

Payments are processed through Stripe. Play it FWD receives transaction information needed to confirm sponsorships, calculate platform fees and attribute funds to a team. We do not store full payment card numbers in the Play it FWD application.

We use information to operate Team Hubs, manage sponsorships, display public team and sponsor information, provide support, maintain platform security, improve the service and communicate about account or transaction activity.

Team profiles, fundraising goals, fundraising progress, sponsor business profiles and selected offers may be visible publicly. Team managers and sponsors should avoid submitting personal information they do not want displayed publicly.

We may use service providers to host the application, process payments, deliver email, store uploaded files and support platform operations. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes and maintain records of sponsorship transactions. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You can contact us to ask about correcting or deleting account information, subject to records we may need to retain for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes.

Play it FWD is intended to be managed by adults such as parents, coaches, team managers and business representatives. Team managers should not publish sensitive personal information about youth participants.
